HR Manager

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operation of Human Resources and Administrative functions including recruitment, compensation, and benefits, industrial relations, employee relations, performance management, security management, administer/manage office and factory cleaning and gardening, and other HR-related support services.
- Handle all matters related to disciplinary actions, grievances, counseling, staff misconducts, and provide advisory on disciplinary matters.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Initiate, plan, review and implement effective HR policies and procedures to ensure HR practices are constantly benchmarked against best practices are implemented and monitor its compliances and effectiveness.
- Keep updated on any changes in professional practices, statutory or labor laws, regulations, and requirements that may impact company policies and ensure compliance with all Malaysian government legislation and Act and local authorities’ rules and regulations.
- Generate monthly related reports, conduct analysis and identify ways to improve the operational efficiency of the department.
- Responsible for accurate data collection and analysis.
- Oversee and review the effectiveness of all administrative and general affairs tasks, such as upkeep/monitor Company’s vehicles inspection/repairs, road tax, insurance coverage, office cleaning, gardening, telecommunication, office equipment, stationery, office despatch, and other general administrative tasks.
- Efficiently and effectively manage the security of the factories, in terms of the overtime control, leave management, disciplinary problems that arise.
- Responsible for foreign workers’ management/administration.
- Handle/manage employees’ disciplinary matters, including, monitoring employees’ absenteeism, high MC, Emergency leave, habitual late attendance, to initiate the weekly meetings with the Operations Management team to address this issue.
- Initiate disciplinary action, and conduct behavioral counseling sessions for those disciplinary problem employees, including issuing disciplinary letters to manage the problems.
- Any other tasks assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
