We are looking for a Business Development Intern who will be working on identifying new markets and acquiring new B2B sales leads for Sunway XFarms. This role offers hands-on experience in business development, events & corporate workshops planning and executions, providing valuable exposure to various aspects of the industry. You will be working with an experienced startup-minded team and directly under both the Business Development & Marketing team of Sunway XFarms. The best of both worlds - you will be part of a successful conglomerate entity, while enjoying the perks and adrenaline of being in a startup environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for leading growth and developing strategic plans and strategies in areas such as business development, sales, partnerships & client retention
- Take charge of lead generation and acquisition of a wide array of B2B clients for Workshops and Merchandise accounts.
- Manage relationships with B2B clients by providing professional and excellent customer service
- Support strategic and daily business which includes expanding the business in current markets as well as developing new markets
- Take charge of events and corporate/community workshop planning and execution
- Assist the team in terms of running the day-to-day operations, including reporting, performance tracking etc
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and network & attend important industry events
- Any ad-hoc activities as and when assigned
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Able to work independently as well as a team player
- Resourceful and strong analytical skills
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset & problem solving
- Determined and has a “go-getter” mentality
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Background in CRM, sales, and business development would be an added advantage
- Possess a car and willing to travel around
Duration: 3-6 months (an opportunity to be converted to full-time based on performance).
**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
