Education / Professional Qualification
- Minimum degree in HR or with LLB qualification and specializing in IR or related fields
- Minimum 15 year(s) of working experience in related scope with minimum 8 years at Management capacity/Senior Level
- Work in similar capacity and exposure in Plantation Industry is preferred
- Knowledge in Disciplinary Procedure, Collective Agreement and relevant acts including Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act and Trade Union Act.
- Well-versed in MAPA, AMESU, NUPW, Sabah and Sarawak Labour Ordinances.
- A strong grounding in labor and employment law and its implementation, inclusive of union negotiations and investigative practices in Malaysia.
- Strong knowledge of labor relations and industrial relations court proceedings

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to earn trust, dive deep and work successfully on a broad spectrum of employee and labor relations issues and business challenges.
· Strong organizational and people acumen with the ability to engage and influence leaders at senior levels in the organization.
· Strong IR/ER experience and ability to collaborate in a multi-union environment
· Extensive experience implementing change management projects in a complex setting.
· Excellent cross-group collaboration, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Pragmatic results-oriented individual with the ability to work professionally under pressure.
· Demonstrates an inclusive leadership style and a commitment to equality
· The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to drive continuous improvement
