Job Summary

Sales Engineer will be working closely with potential and existing clients to understand their needs, demonstrating how the company's solutions can address their challenges, and providing tailored technical support throughout the sales cycle. The candidate will collaborate with the sales team to craft customized solutions, deliver compelling presentations, and ensure successful implementation post-sale.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of Sales Engineer are as follows: -

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and potential customers. This includes understanding their needs, offering solutions, and providing after-sales support.
  • Technical Sales and Consultation: Use technical knowledge of industrial racks and storage solutions to advise and consult with clients on the most suitable products for their needs. This involves understanding complex requirements and translating them into effective solutions.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Analyze market trends, identify potential customers, and develop strategies to reach new markets or expand in existing ones. This might include participation in trade shows, industry conferences, and other networking events.
  • Product Demonstrations and Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations, prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders to showcase the features, benefits, and advantages of the company's products.
  • Customization and Project Coordination: Work closely with the engineering and design teams to customize products according to customer specifications. This may involve overseeing the project from initial concept through to delivery and installation, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Sales Targets and Reporting: Meet or exceed sales targets set by the company. Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other related documents to management, highlighting performance, market feedback, and potential growth opportunities.
  • Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support to clients, which may include troubleshooting issues or offering guidance on product installation and maintenance. Additionally, you may be responsible for training customers on how to use and maintain the industrial racks effectively.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments within the company, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Competitor Analysis: Keep abreast of competitors' products, sales strategies, and market positioning to effectively compete and identify areas for differentiation and improvement.

Other Requirements

  • Willing to travel regionally.
  • Fluent in English; additional SEA languages an advantage.

Requirement:

  • 3-4 years working experience from relevant industry is preferred
  • Bachelor Degre in Engineering/ Administration
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong sense of responsibility and integrity
  • Good communication skills for working with internal stakeholders
  • Organised, disciplined, and able to manage deadlines
  • A team player with a collaborative mindset
