Sales Executive

JOB PURPOSE
The Sales Executive is responsible for driving student enrolment through direct recruitment activities, lead conversion and stakeholder engagement. This role executes sales strategies, represents the University at outreach events and contributes to achieving enrolment targets for all programmes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Student Recruitment & Conversion
- Promote university programmes via counselling sessions, school visits and education fairs.
- Recommend suitable programmes based on institutional offerings and student needs.
- Follow up on leads from Open Days, web inquiries and agent referrals.
2. Lead Management & Follow-Up
- Respond to inquiries (phone, email, walk-ins) within 24 hours and maintain CRM records.
- Nurture and follow up on leads from campus tours, Open Days, web inquiries and agent referrals.
3. Marketing & Outreach Execution
- Support digital campaigns (social media, email marketing) to attract prospects.
- Organize and participate in recruitment events, campus tours and school roadshows.
- Gather competitor/market intelligence to refine outreach strategies.
4. Relationship Management
- Nurture relationships with school counsellors, education agents, alumni and industry partners.
- Provide exceptional customer service to applicants throughout the enrolment process.
- Provide post-enrolment support to ensure student retention.
5. Market Intelligence and Reporting
- Gather data on competitor programmes, pricing and promotions.
- Report on competitor programmes, pricing trends and student preferences.
- Suggest improvements to programmes/marketing based on feedback.
6. Compliance & Ethics
- Ensure transparent communication about fees, entry requirements and job prospects (aligned with MOHE/MQA guidelines).
- Avoid misrepresentation or high-pressure tactics; prioritize student fit.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business/Communications.
- Experience: 2+ years in sales or business development (education sector a plus).
- Skills:
- Persuasive communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook Ads).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Conversant in both Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Attributes: Self-motivated, target-oriented, and culturally aware.

- Willing to travel long distance, go outstation and work on weekends, when required
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2, RM4,000.00 per month
