About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Supervisor to join our team at KS FIRE & SAFETY ENGINEERING SDN BHD. As a Project Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate fire safety engineering projects, ensuring compliance with local fire codes, NFPA/BS/EN standards, and client requirements. The role involves supervising project execution, managing teams, ensuring quality and safety, and delivering projects within schedule and budget.
What you'll be doing
- Supervise the execution construction activities on-site to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
- Plan and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment for project activities.
- Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with fire protection standards.
- Ensure compliance with local civil defense requirements and obtain necessary approvals.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and ensure adherence to OHS practices.
- Train and supervise site teams, ensuring proper installation and commissioning procedures.
- Support the Project Manager in cost control, resource management, and client handover.
What we're looking for
- Minimum: Diploma or technical certification in a relevant field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in supervising technical projects.
- Experience leading teams, coordinating subcontractors, or managing site work.
- Hands-on site supervision experience (installation, commissioning, or maintenance depending on field).
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects from start to finish.
Excellent project supervision, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate and coordinate diverse teams.
- Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in using project management software and other relevant digital tools.
