About the role

We are seeking a Project Site Clerk (QAQC) for a project based in Penang with a minimum one year experience. The Project Site Clerk (QAQC) provides onsite technical supervision by monitoring day-to-day construction activities to ensure protection from construction defects and deficiencies in contractors' work. This position is responsible to provide administrative and QA/QC support at the project site to ensure building plans and specifications are followed correctly, with projects completed according to requirements, timeline, and budget.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in monitoring construction activities for compliance with plans and safety standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of site activities, including inspection reports and progress updates.
  • Support the preparation and verification of documentation like RFIs and QC records.
  • Ensure proper filing of QA/QC documentation for audits and project handover.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors and QA/QC engineers for inspection schedules.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1-year experiences in Construction, specialising in railway projects or related role, depot projects or related fields.
  • Familiarity with QA/QC processes and documentation.
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of construction documentation standards.
