Assistant HR Manager/ Human Resources Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the full spectrum of HR Operations including recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
  2. Develop, implement and continuously improve HR policies, procedures and ensure compliance with Malaysian labour law.
  3. Managing the HR team and providing guidance, support and mentorship to help them in their roles.
  4. Prepare and present HR reports, headcount plans and staff cost analyses to management.
  5. Plan and coordinate employee training, talent development and team-building activities.
  6. Handle staff disciplinary matters, counselling and grievance management.
  7. Oversea all foreigner worker matters to ensure follow compliance with immigration and liaise with JTK and other relevant authorities.
  8. Liaise with auditor on HR audit compliance issues.
  9. Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of HR experience including at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.
  • Able to multitasking and excellent communication skill.
  • Required language(s): Able to speak in English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients
