Position: Business Office Executive (Data Analytics & Pricing)

Working hours 8am to 6pm
Assist in overseeing Business Office operations, including billing, credit control, and cash management; ensure manpower sufficiency and prepare duty rosters; support financial reporting; perform bill verification to ensure billing accuracy; and maintain compliance with financial procedures and internal controls. The role also involves preparing revenue and census reports, conducting UAT testing for billing-related systems, and supporting RCA for incidents or complaints.
Job responsibilities
Assist the Business Office Manager in managing day-to-day operations of the Business Office.
Ensure timely and accurate billing, credit control, and cash management processes.
Prepare and monitor the duty roster to ensure sufficient manpower coverage for all shifts at all times. 4. Prepare and review financial and operational reports such as revenue report, census report, and SST report as required by management.
Perform bill verification on a timely basis to ensure billing accuracy, completeness, and compliance with approved charges — avoiding late, omitted, over, or under charges.
Prepare estimated cost breakdowns for common procedures based on historical bills, market surveys, MMA codes, and prevailing market practices.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure proper billing documentation and accurate charge capture.
Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for SST and billing-related system enhancements or updates to ensure operational readiness.
Assist in performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for any billing-related incidents, errors, or patient complaints.
Monitor accounts receivable and support the collection process to ensure timely settlement.
Coordinate with insurance agents, patients, and internal departments for payment or claim-related matters.
Support Chief Cashier and Business Office Executives in operational and reconciliation reporting.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and audit requirements
Train and guide staff to uphold operational efficiency and service standards.
Identify workflow improvement opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial and patient information.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Business Office Manager or management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in business office, billing, or finance operations.
- Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Billing and revenue management, SST reporting, credit control, financial documentation, manpower planning, and UAT testing.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, leadership and communication skills, integrity, ability to multitask, and strong problemsolving mindset.
