Location: JIBRIL Subang SS15 (HQ) (required to visit all outlets weekly, including Central Kitchen)

Position Overview:

We're looking for an experienced Executive Chef to lead and elevate the culinary direction of JIBRIL Restaurant Group and its sub-brands, including Best Dough, our new modern street-food concept.

You'll oversee kitchen standards, menu innovation, and team development across multiple outlets while ensuring every dish meets JIBRIL's signature quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the launch of JIBRIL's sub-brand – Best Dough and new frozen product lines (Butter Chicken cubes & drumsticks).
  • Oversee Halal certifications and renewals for multiple outlets.
  • Launch new product lines such as RTE Butter Sauce & Butter Paste.
  • Optimise the menu — improve quality, remove low-performing dishes, and ensure consistency across outlets.
  • Develop and implement an Internal Training & Kitchen Audit System to maintain high kitchen standards.
  • Establish and update recipe costing, SOPs, and kitchen efficiency processes.
  • Maintain a balanced workforce ratio and drive staff training & retention initiatives.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies to reduce monthly kitchen expenses by 5%.
  • Drive revenue growth (target +5%) through menu engineering and operational innovation.
  • Propose new revenue streams such as catering, events, and B2B collaborations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in culinary or multi-outlet F&B operations
  • Strong knowledge of menu, costing, and Halal compliance
  • Proven track record in reducing kitchen costs and improving efficiency
  • Passionate about developing teams and enhancing local fusion cuisine
  • Creative, structured, and results-driven professional
