Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Know-Your-Customer (KYC) reviews for new client onboarding and periodic assessments, including detailed KYC analysis.
  • Collaborate with business departments to determine KYC documentation requirements and provide guidance on KYC-related matters.
  • Review and assess daily screening alerts from the KYC system, including adverse events, sanctions, and Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs).
  • Assist in generating reports to highlight Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for management review.
  • Support ad-hoc Compliance Team projects, including remediation efforts, audits, AML/CFT training, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new systems.
  • Quickly adapt to updates in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies, procedures, and systems.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in KYC compliance (B2B), preferably in Fintech, Banking, or Major Payment Institutions (MBFI).
  • Strong knowledge of MAS AML/CFT regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and sensitivity in handling confidential client information.
  • Proactive and resourceful problem-solver with the ability to adapt in dynamic environments.
  • High ethical standards with a strong commitment to compliance and integrity.
  • Familiarity with MAS Notices (e.g., MAS 626, PSN01) is an advantage.
  • ACAMS or other recognized compliance certification preferred.
