About the role

Koperasi Shamelin Berhad is seeking a talented Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding our client portfolio. As a key member of our sales department, you will play a vital part in achieving the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

  1. Identify new market opportunities for the company's products or services.

  2. Develop strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clients.

  3. Prepare and present business proposals to potential clients.

  4. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs.

  5. Negotiate and secure sales agreements or contracts with clients and strategic partners.

  6. Prepare sales performance and business development progress reports for management.

  7. Participate in trade shows, seminars, and industry events to promote the company's products.

  8. Maintain professional relationships and build networks with clients and new business partners.

  9. Achieve the sales targets and KPIs set by the company.

What we're looking for


• Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Experience in sales, marketing, or business development is an advantage.


• Result-oriented and proactive in seeking new business opportunities.


• Own transport and willing to travel when required.


• 4+ years of hands-on experience in business development, sales, or client management.
