About the Role
You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and employee benefits in full compliance with company policies and local regulatory requirements. The role also includes providing responsive support to employee inquiries, maintaining comprehensive payroll documentation, and assisting with payroll reporting and statutory compliance activities.
Responsibilities
PAYROLL
- Multi-Regional Payroll:
Oversee processing and data consolidation for Malaysia, Houston, and the Netherlands. - Financial Partnership:
Collaborate with Finance on cost reclassification, back-charges, and project allocations. - Compliance & Tax:
Manage IRB tax clearance, audit support, and strict data confidentiality. - Operations:
Handle end-to-end payroll data submission and resolve employee inquiries regarding pay and onboarding.
BENEFITS MANAGEMENT
- Global Mobility Management:
Manage the full process of international postings, including calculating IP and housing allowances and handling expatriate work permits to ensure compliant mobilization. - Relocation & Logistics:
Oversee assignee mobilization and demobilization, coordinating with movers for shipments and ensuring a seamless transition. - Cross-Border Compliance:
Liaise with host country agents to manage assignee payments and tax obligations, ensuring full compliance with local laws. - Market Competitiveness:
Conduct salary benchmarking and survey analysis to support the design of competitive compensation packages across all entities. - Compensation Administration:
Draft and administer official compensation letters (increments, rewards) to ensure consistent internal communication. - Budgeting & Finance:
Partner with Finance during budget cycles by providing accurate salary and benefits data for forecasting. - Procurement & Payments:
Manage the C&B vendor lifecycle, from registration in
Coupa
to the timely processing of invoices and payments. - HR Projects:
Serve as a key project member for HR system implementations, providing expertise on compensation and benefits workflows.
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
- Play a role in supporting the Finance team with vendor data creation and updates in the FI module to ensure smooth payment processing and system integration.
- Deliver as key vendor information for mass data creation in Waves 1, ensuring data accuracy and readiness.
AD-HOC SUPPORT
- Provide support in preparation of reports and employee data analysis as and when required by management.
- Provide critical support for Finance and Engineering & Project teams with urgent employee data or cost retagging requests.
- Contribute support to the Finance Headcount and Manpower Cost breakdown in alignment with the Group CFO's request.
Qualifications:
- Holds bachelor's degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or a related field
Experience Required:
- Having experience of at least 5 years of relevant working experience in payroll administration, compensation and benefits, or HR operations.
- Proven track record in handling complex compensation structures, international assignments and benefits programs.
- Experience in preparing details reports, data analysis and supporting budgeting or audit activities.
- Proficiency in payroll system and HR system.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
