About the Role

We're looking for a Payroll Executive to support regional payroll operations for both internal staff and external clients. This role involves managing high-volume payroll with precision and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. You'll play a key part in maintaining accurate records, handling client queries, and supporting audits — all while working remotely.


Key Responsibilities

Payroll Management

  • Process monthly payroll for internal and client accounts (200–300+ headcount).
  • Ensure accurate salary computation, statutory contributions, and disbursements.
  • Handle and resolve payroll-related queries promptly.

Payroll Administration

  • Prepare employment contracts and update onboarding/offboarding details.
  • Maintain payroll master data, employee records, and benefits information.
  • Generate reports for management, clients, and statutory authorities.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure 100% compliance in statutory submissions and reporting deadlines.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and support audit and grant queries.
  • Manage government claims and statutory filings accurately.

Systems & Processes

  • Utilize payroll systems (e.g. Whyze, Info-Tech, Sage, PayDay, etc.).
  • Use Excel for payroll tracking, analysis, and reporting.
  • Support updates to payroll, leave, and timesheet systems as needed.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1–2 years of hands-on payroll processing experience
  • Experience handling both internal and client payrolls is an advantage
  • Familiar with Whyze, Info-Tech, Sage, or similar systems
  • Strong in Excel (formulas, data entry, reporting)
  • Detail-oriented, compliant, and able to manage deadlines
  • Good communication and client-handling skills
