Job Overview:

Responsible to provide and conduct lectures as scheduled, evaluate and assess the performance of student from time to time. To prepare lesson plan or teaching materials for assigned subjects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, update and preparelesson plans, tutorials, assignments and class discussion in compliance with the syllabus and curriculum and to reflect current practices;
  • Conduct and deliverquality lectures, tutorials, discussions, workshops, consultancy and other means of learning facilitation professionally and effectively to students;
  • Contribute to the developmentof new academic programme and to provide ideas, suggestion, proposals, and recommendation to further improve the overall operations, management and profitability of the faculty and the college;
  • Handle induction and orientation sessions for new students;
  • Supervise undergraduate's student and responsible for students' academic progress;
  • Consistently monitor and provide feedbacks to students on their performance and to provide academic counselling to students;
  • Involve in general academic administration of the college;
  • Assist in student affairs matters;
  • Supervise students in assignments and projects;
  • Involve in the development of examination papers and other assessments accordingly to the course learning outcomes, invigilate examinations and evaluate students' performance;
  • Involve in marketing activities such as education fairs, open-day events and activities and other marketing drives; and to perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree/ Master's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health/ Environmental and Occupational Health or related discipline;
  • Have a good command of English and Malay;
  • Candidates with relevant teaching experience would have an added advantage;
  • Show passion for teaching and willingness to go the extra mile to provide quality education to students.
  • Possesses strong credibility for problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and commitment to work and tasks.
  • Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment as well as independently; and
  • Able to communicate effectively and worksynchronously and harmoniously withthe management and other associates within the College.
