We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Executive to oversee day-to-day financial transactions, with a strong focus on the accurate and timely management of accounts receivable. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who is eager to apply their expertise to support organizational growth and enhance financial performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Handle the full set of accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger entire.
  • Ensure timely billing, invoicing, and payment processing.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports, ensuring compliance with internal deadlines.
  • Prepare and submit SST filings, including reporting and handling SST exemption applications.
  • Liaise with bankers on matters such as interest rates for loans, booking forex rates, and submitting related documents.
  • Prepare year-end financial reports, audit schedules, and tax documentation.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, government authorities, and bankers to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Assist in other matters including system implementation, expense analysis and other ad hoc reports.
  • To perform any other duties or assignments as may be assigned by the company from time to time and in such manner as the company deems appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any professional or finance equivalent. Preferably with certification of ICAEW/ACCA/CPA/MIA/CIMAor equivalent.
  • Minimum3-5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Skills: Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of financial system flows, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Positive work attitudes and willingness to learn.
  • Computer literate and competent in MS Office applicants especially in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
