Job Description

We are a professional accounting and audit firm seeking an Accounts Executive/Senior Accounts Executive to join our client accounting team.

The role involves handling full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients within the property and management sector, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards (MPERS).

Responsibilities
  • Maintain full set of accounts for assigned clients, including general ledger, AP/AR, bank reconciliation, and monthly closing.
  • Prepare management accounts, supporting schedules, and financial statements in accordance with MPERS.
  • Liaise with clients, auditors, and tax agents to resolve accounting and reporting matters.
  • Review and monitor accounting entries prepared by junior staff.
  • Ensure proper documentation, filing, and compliance with statutory deadlines.
  • Participate in workflow improvements and implementation of accounting systems or templates.

Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting / ACCA CIMA CPA or equivalent (LCCI / CAT acceptable with experience).
  • Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in professional firms or handling multiple client portfolios.
  • Proficient in SQL, Autocount, or other accounting software.
  • Familiarity with MPERS standards, SST, and basic tax principles will be an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Willing to travel to client sites around the Klang Valley.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
