Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop engaging program and strategize content for online and on ground promotion.
  • Organize Motorsports related events as well as supporting cross departmental events, wherever necessary.
  • Enhance Honda Racing Malaysia (HRM) presence in building Honda's brand image.
  • Oversee and prepare customized sponsorship proposals to solicit sufficient funding for annual race championship participation.
  • Maintain strong working relationships and ensure consistent communication with existing sponsors, race teams, championship promoters, principle and business partners.
  • Support monthly administrative department needs including monthly and quarterly operational reports as well as budget tracking.
  • Be an active organizing member in arranging all necessary administrative documents.
  • Maintain consistent corporate, brand and product identity across all communications, in line with Honda's corporate and visual guideline as well as participating sponsors.
  • Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, automotive engineering, sport management or any related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in related areas such as event planning, sponsor and media management in both on ground as well as digital.
  • Those with racing operations, knowledgeable and passionate about motorsports will be an added advantage.
  • Strong skills in reporting, proposal writing, and presentation preparation.
  • Proficient in video editing and social media content management.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for events, race championship, or promotional events that is typically over the weekends.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines is essential.
