Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Area Sales Manager (Medical Channel). The Area Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing sales in the medical channel, developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, achieving sales targets, and providing market feedback. The role involves daily sales visits, planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring competitor activities, and reporting to management.
Job Description needed for the position
- Coordinate and support line manager in managing day-to-day operating expenditure against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
- Facilitating execution of promotional strategies through teams by understanding marketing objectives
- Ensuring marketing activities or competitors info sharing to the team. Market's feedback to the team if any changes
- Providing reports/insights on competitors' activities, promotions, product recalls, pricing, and new product launched
- Attending review
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies and achieve targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze market data and competitor activities
- Proficient in MS Office and sales software/tools
- Willingness to travel within
