Job Summary / Purpose
Admin Executive for Management Information System (MIS) is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting data and information systems to ensure smooth business operations. This role involves data entry, system monitoring, reporting, and coordination between departments to support decision-making and business efficiency within the F&B organization.
Requirements
- Education:
Diploma or Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. - Experience:
1–3 years of experience in administrative or MIS support roles, preferably in the F&B or retail industry. - Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with MIS systems, HRIS, ERP, or POS reporting platforms.
- Basic understanding of databases and data visualization tools is an advantage.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Organized, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Management & System Administration
- Maintain and update employee, outlet, and operational data in the MIS database accurately and promptly.
- Ensure all system entries (e.g., HR, payroll, inventory, and sales data) are consistent and error-free.
- Support the development and improvement of internal systems and reporting tools.
- Perform regular data backup and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
2. Reporting & Analysis
- Generate, compile, and distribute periodic reports (daily, weekly, monthly) related to operations, HR, and finance.
- Assist management with data-driven insights to support planning, performance monitoring, and decision-making.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely data submission and validation.
3. Technical & System Support
- Liaise with IT or system vendors for troubleshooting, access issues, or upgrades.
- Support end-users in resolving MIS-related issues and provide guidance on system functions.
- Monitor system performance and report any irregularities to the MIS Executive or Manager.
4. Administrative Coordination
- Assist in maintaining documentation, SOPs, and records related to MIS processes.
- Handle correspondence and coordination related to system updates, access requests, or report distribution.
- Provide administrative support to the MIS team and other relevant departments.
