About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our home appliance brand's growth in the Malaysian market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for channel development, sales management, and partner relationship building, ensuring the achievement of the company's sales targets while strengthening brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and expand sales channels for the home appliance brand in Malaysia, ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape in Malaysia, develop effective channel strategies, and drive execution to enhance brand influence.
- Manage and optimize relationships with channel partners, including business negotiations, contract management, and day-to-day operational support.
- Regularly evaluate channel performance, identify growth opportunities, and adjust strategies to ensure business objectives are met.
Requirements:
- Diploma or above in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of channel management experience in the Malaysian home appliance (including kitchen appliances) or water purification industry, with strong local channel networks; experience in appliance rental business is a plus.
- Proficient in Chinese, English, and Malay, able to communicate, negotiate, and handle documentation in all three languages.
- Highly target-oriented with strong self-motivation, execution ability, and resilience; able to work independently and handle complex business issues.
- Innovative, proactive in developing new channels, with keen market insight and strong negotiation skills; able to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
