Job Summary

The Leasing Executive is responsible for executing leasing strategies, securing tenants, and maintaining good tenant relationships to achieve malls occupancy and revenue targets. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills, with the ability to work closely with internal team to ensure smooth leasing operations and timely tenancy handovers.

Key Responsibilites :

Leasing and Tenant Management

  • Source and secure suitable tenants according to the malls tenant mix strategy.
  • Handle tenant inquiries, site visits, proposal, and follow up
  • Prepare and process relevant tenancy documentation ( LOI, Renewal Letters, etc )
  • Monitor lease expiries and initiate renewal discussions in a timely manner
  • Maintain and update tenant database and leasing reports accurately

Coordination and Handover

  • Liaise with tenants, designers and the malls operations team on fit-out, renovation, and opening schedule
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth handover and tenancy commencement
  • Conduct joint inspections before and after handover to ensure compliance with mall requirements

Market Research and Reporting

  • Conduct market studies and keep updated on competitors' rental trends, new brands and mall development
  • Assists in preparing leasing proposal, presentation materials, and occupancy report for management review

Relationship and Communication

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants to encourage renewals and identify potential expansion opportunities
  • Act as first point of contact for tenant inquires, feedback, and complaints related to leasing matters
  • Support marketing events and promotions by liaising with tenants for participation and collaboration

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, retail, mall or commercial leasing ( fresh candidates with strong communication skills may be considered )
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Independent, proactive, and result oriented with good follow up discipline
  • Proficient In Microsoft office
  • Work sincerely and responsibly, showing genuine care and attentiveness towards tenants and their needs
