The incumbent will report direct to Senior Manager and work closely with Top Management in identifying potential business within West Malaysia.

KEY SCOPES

Business Development

  • Identify potential business and marketing plans for commercial chemical products, chemical manufacturing, and related systems for both existing and new markets.
  • Collect and analyze marketing, industry, and economic data, along with continual customer feedback, to support market growth.
  • Contribute to the company's internal newsletter and assist the marketing team in promoting existing and new chemical products.
  • Build strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure long‑term business sustainability.

Sales Forecasting & Strategy

  • Forecast monthly and annual sales targets and monitor performance on a monthly basis.
  • Establish marketing strategies to defend and grow the company's market share.
  • Provide regular insights to management on competitive landscape and opportunities for differentiation.

Financial Responsibilities

  • Accountable for customer aging/outstanding payments and collections.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Department to resolve commercial issues such as invoices, back charges, credit notes, and debit notes.
  • Recommend suitable customer credit limits and credit terms to Finance teams.

Operations Coordination

  • Work closely with Supply Distribution team in preparing quotations, sales orders, delivery orders, and invoices.

Technical Support

  • Provide technical or product training to clients when needed.
  • Support clients by resolving any product-related technical issues.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree / Diploma in Business, Marketing or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of Business Development / Commercial experience within Specialty Chemical Manufacturing / Mining / Oil & Gas Exploration / Construction / EPCC or related Tendering Projects exposure preferred.
  • High business acumen with excellent interaction skills to deal with internal & external Key Management / Decision Makers
  • Permanent vacancy based in Petaling Jaya.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM8, RM12,000.00 per month
