Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and maximise gross profit for our client's portfolio of Cloud Backup products. This is a sales-focused role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution to expand market presence and strengthen customer relationships.

In this role, you will work closely with vendors to design and implement comprehensive business plans that cover customer engagement, partner development, sales enablement, and competitive positioning. You will take the lead in managing complex deals, supporting resellers, and ensuring the successful growth of the product portfolio across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define sales strategy, plan, develop, and manage the assigned products and solutions. This strategy is aligned to the development and sales plan for respective vendors
  • Lead the business planning process and business review, ensure close interaction and collaboration with vendors and partners
  • Drive sales engagement partners in both large strategic deals as well as commercial business
  • Overall go to market and sales solution cum pricing strategy for the assigned product(s)
  • Cohesively work with departments involved for RFP, RFI, tenders, contracts and quotations
  • Plan and manage the full spectrum of business framework of understanding market trends, designing pricing strategy, portfolio prioritisation to tracking KPI and sizing opportunities
  • Partner development and enablement, as well as anticipate new types of partners required to build future pipeline
  • The successful Product Manager (Sales) is a resourceful and aggressive sales professional with proven track in telesales.

Key Requirements:

  • Three to five years of proven sales and product management track records in an IT sales organisation.
  • Experience in building the business on the product(s) assigned – GTM, financial objectives, product(s) enablement.
  • Loves meeting people and excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience selling security software or cloud an added advantage.
  • Someone who is a self-starter and resourceful.
