Job Summary

The Senior Business Development Executive will lead sales development and strategic growth initiatives for multi-disciplinary engineering projects, including civil, electrical, and mechanical works. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, preparing proposals, and driving revenue growth through effective project acquisition.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Sales & Business Growth

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in civil, electrical, and mechanical project sectors.
  • Achieve sales targets through strategic planning, client engagement, and follow-ups.
  • Prepare and present sales pitches, technical proposals, and commercial offers.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market presence.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, government bodies, and industry partners.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts and strategic partnerships.

3. Market Research & Lead Generation

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Identify tenders, RFPs, and project leads through various channels (government portals, consultants, EPC contractors, etc.).
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of potential projects.

4. Proposal, Tendering & Coordination

  • Coordinate with engineering, estimation, procurement, and execution teams for tender submissions.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, BOQs, technical details, and pricing strategies.
  • Participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings.

5. Strategy & Reporting

  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Provide regular reports on sales forecasts, project status, and market updates to management.
  • Support senior management in decision-making through insights and analysis.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical) or Business Administration or MBA
  • 5–10+ years' experience in business development, sales or project acquisition in construction or engineering sectors.
  • Strong understanding of EPC projects, infrastructure works, utilities, and industrial projects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong network within contractors, consultants, and government entities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet revenue targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and tender portals.
