About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Contract Executive to join our Construction team based in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex construction contracts and ensuring all contractual obligations are met.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documents
  • Monitoring contract performance and compliance, and identifying and resolving any issues that arise
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to project teams on contractual matters

  • Monitoring project costs and valuations to ensure projects remain on budget

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective contract management

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices
  • Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and trends

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar contract management role, ideally within the construction industry
  • Thorough understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and relevant laws and regulations
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
