Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and volume targets.
Identify new business opportunities across key market segments, including industrial, manufacturing, and specialty chemical sectors.
Lead strategic planning for market penetration, product expansion, and customer acquisition.
Provide sales forecasts, territory plans, and performance reports to senior management.
Build and grow a strong customer portfolio through proactive prospecting and industry networking.
Drive new market opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Lead negotiations for commercial terms, pricing strategies, and long-term supply agreements.
Support the introduction of new chemical products and solutions to the market.
Manage high-value customer relationships, ensuring consistent service quality and business retention.
Conduct regular visits, technical discussions, and customer reviews to address needs and identify growth opportunities.
Ensure timely customer communication, issue resolution, and follow-through on commitments.
Lead and mentor sales teams to achieve performance goals and professional development milestones.
Foster a collaborative working environment across sales, operations, finance, procurement, and technical teams.
Ensure alignment between sales activities and overall business strategy.
Oversee pricing structures, contract renewals, and customer credit management.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Monitor inventory levels, supply chain coordination, and delivery schedules in collaboration with relevant departments.
Conduct market studies to identify industry trends, product demand shifts, and emerging opportunities.
Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions and business improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 10–12 years of sales experience in the chemical, petrochemical, industrial distribution, or related B2B sectors.
At least 5 years in a managerial or senior sales leadership role.
Proven track record in business development, key account management, and strategic sales execution.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop pricing strategies and negotiate high-value contracts.
Solid understanding of chemical products, applications, and customer industries.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to analyze data, interpret market trends, and convert insights into actionable strategies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and sales reporting tools.
Results-driven, strategic thinker, and able to thrive in a competitive market environment.
Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
Highly self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable to market changes.
Willingness to travel regionally for customer visits and business development activities.
