Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and volume targets.

  • Identify new business opportunities across key market segments, including industrial, manufacturing, and specialty chemical sectors.

  • Lead strategic planning for market penetration, product expansion, and customer acquisition.

  • Provide sales forecasts, territory plans, and performance reports to senior management.

Business Development
  • Build and grow a strong customer portfolio through proactive prospecting and industry networking.

  • Drive new market opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

  • Lead negotiations for commercial terms, pricing strategies, and long-term supply agreements.

  • Support the introduction of new chemical products and solutions to the market.

Key Account Management
  • Manage high-value customer relationships, ensuring consistent service quality and business retention.

  • Conduct regular visits, technical discussions, and customer reviews to address needs and identify growth opportunities.

  • Ensure timely customer communication, issue resolution, and follow-through on commitments.

Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead and mentor sales teams to achieve performance goals and professional development milestones.

  • Foster a collaborative working environment across sales, operations, finance, procurement, and technical teams.

  • Ensure alignment between sales activities and overall business strategy.

Operational & Commercial Excellence
  • Oversee pricing structures, contract renewals, and customer credit management.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.

  • Monitor inventory levels, supply chain coordination, and delivery schedules in collaboration with relevant departments.

Market Intelligence
  • Conduct market studies to identify industry trends, product demand shifts, and emerging opportunities.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions and business improvement initiatives.

Requirements
Job Requirements

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum 10–12 years of sales experience in the chemical, petrochemical, industrial distribution, or related B2B sectors.

  • At least 5 years in a managerial or senior sales leadership role.

  • Proven track record in business development, key account management, and strategic sales execution.

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop pricing strategies and negotiate high-value contracts.

  • Solid understanding of chemical products, applications, and customer industries.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to analyze data, interpret market trends, and convert insights into actionable strategies.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and sales reporting tools.
