The Human Resources Specialist (Full Spectrum) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations for the company's Malaysia office. This role ensures full compliance with local labor laws, supports organizational growth, and aligns HR initiatives with global and regional standards.

Operating within a fast-paced Forex and Fintech environment, the ideal candidate is people-oriented, detail-driven, and capable of managing both strategic HR initiatives and day-to-day HR operations. This position will serve as the primary HR partner to the local leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Full Spectrum Human Resources Management

  • Manage the entire HR lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and offboarding.
  • Work closely with department heads (Sales, Marketing, Compliance, Operations) to understand manpower needs and execute effective hiring strategies.
  • Lead recruitment for high-volume sales roles and specialized Forex/Fintech positions.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysia Labor Code, employment regulations, and internal corporate policies.
  • Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
  • Oversee payroll processing, including statutory compliance for EPF / SOCSO / EIS etc.
  • Administer employee benefits, government reporting, and HRIS updates.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and performance appraisal systems.
  • Manage employee relations cases with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Drive employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and retention strategies.
  • Support training and development programs to enhance employee capability and performance.
  • Coordinate with regional/global HR teams for alignment on compensation, compliance, talent management, and organizational development.

Strategic HR Business Partnering

  • Serve as a key HR advisor to management, offering insights for workforce planning, organizational structure, and people strategies.
  • Provide data-driven HR reports, metrics, and analytics to management.
  • Partner with leadership on manpower planning, succession planning, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure clear communication between the Philippines office and the broader regional/global HR network.
  • Promote strong company culture, teamwork, and a positive work environment.

Education and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields.
  • Minimum 4–7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in Forex, Fintech, or financial services is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, HR compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage both strategic HR projects and daily HR operations independently.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, HRIS platforms, and collaboration tools (Slack, Google Workspace, Trello, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multicultural, and fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications (MUST Have)

  • Proficiency in MANDARIN language.
  • Experience supporting expatriates or working closely with regional/global HR counterparts.
  • Knowledge of sales incentive structures, commission schemes, or performance-based compensation.
  • Familiarity with Forex/CFD trading operations, compliance requirements, or financial services workflows.
