About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager (New Car) to join the dynamic team at UNIVERSAL CHERY SDN BHD' in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and driving the sales strategy for new car sales, with a focus on new business development. This is a full-time position offering opportunities for career growth and development.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Recruiting, training, managing and motivating a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales
- Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities through prospecting, networking and building relationships with potential customers
- Analysing sales data, market trends and competitor intelligence to inform decision-making and optimise sales performance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experience and effective sales operations
- Reporting on sales performance and providing recommendations to senior management
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in the automotive industry, preferably in new car sales
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team
- Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills
- Proficient in data analysis, reporting and using sales management tools
- Adaptable to changing market conditions and customer needs
- Passionate about the automotive industry and committed to driving business growth
