Role Summary
This position supports the
Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Operations
function for the company's
Malaysia office
and reports directly to the
Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP)
. The role is responsible for executing recruitment activities, managing daily HR operations, supporting employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
This role contributes directly to the company's
business growth and expansion
, while ensuring HR practices remain aligned with
Malaysian employment laws
and
regional/global HR standards
. It is well suited for individuals who perform well in a
dynamic, people-centric, and results-driven environment
.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Employee Administration
- Oversee end-to-end HR processes including
hiring support, onboarding, performance monitoring, employee relations, rewards coordination, and exit management
. - Maintain accurate
employee files, employment contracts, and statutory HR records
. - Manage
attendance tracking, leave administration, and HRIS data accuracy
(payroll excluded). - Administer
employee benefits and statutory submissions
. - Develop, review, and implement
HR policies, SOPs, employee handbook, and performance management frameworks
. - Handle employee relations matters with
professionalism, fairness, and strict confidentiality
. - Support organisation-wide
training, development, and engagement programmes
. - Lead
retention, engagement, and recognition initiatives
to enhance workforce morale and stability.
2. Talent Acquisition & Manpower Planning
- Work closely with department leaders (
Marketing, Payment, Branding, IT
) to assess staffing needs. - Execute recruitment for
high-volume roles
and
specialised positions within the Forex & Fintech industry
. - Support hiring strategies through
sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding execution
. - Ensure recruitment activities align with
manpower planning and business growth strategies
.
3. Strategic HR Support & Business Partnering
- Act as a key HR partner to support
workforce planning, organisation structure, and people strategy
. - Prepare and provide
HR data, reports, and workforce insights
for management review. - Support
succession planning, manpower forecasting, and performance improvement initiatives
. - Serve as the main coordination point between the
Malaysia office and regional/global HR counterparts
. - Promote a
performance-driven culture built on teamwork, accountability, and shared values
.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in
Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology
, or a related field. - Minimum 2 years of relevant HR experience
. - Solid understanding of the
Malaysia Employment Act, labour compliance requirements, and HR best practices
. - Proven ability to manage
both operational HR duties and strategic HR initiatives independently
. - Strong
communication, independent working ability, and stakeholder management skills
. - Proficient in
Microsoft Office and HR systems
. - Strong
analytical thinking, execution capability, and problem-solving skills
. - Able to perform effectively in a
fast-paced, multicultural, and growth-oriented environment
. - High standards of
integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
.
Additional Requirements
- Proficiency in
Mandarin
to support cross-border communication. - Experience working with
multi-national teams or regional stakeholders
will be an added advantage. - Knowledge of
performance-based compensation structures and incentive schemes
is preferred. - Prior exposure to
regulated industries or financial services environments
is beneficial.
