Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and people-centric HR Business Partner to support our business leaders in driving organizational performance, talent development, and employee engagement. This role is ideal for an HR professional with 2–3 years of experience who is ready to take on a consultative role bridging people strategy and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Partnering

  • Partner with managers to understand business priorities and workforce needs, ensuring HR strategies align with organizational goals.
  • Support headcount planning, organizational design, and manpower optimization discussions.
  • Provide advice on employee lifecycle matters, including hiring, onboarding, development, and retention.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees, resolving grievances and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Support engagement initiatives, pulse surveys, and action plans to strengthen company culture.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and code of conduct.

3. Performance & Development

  • Support performance management cycles (goal setting, mid-year, and annual reviews).
  • Facilitate talent calibration discussions with line managers and identify development gaps.
  • Partner with the Learning & Development team to recommend training interventions.

4. Data & Analytics

  • Prepare HR reports and dashboards on attrition, headcount, and engagement metrics.
  • Analyze trends to provide actionable insights to business leaders.

5. HR Operations Support

  • Support employee movements, transfers, and offboarding processes.
  • Work closely with the HR Shared Services team to ensure timely and accurate processing of HR transactions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of HR generalist or HRBP experience, preferably in a multinational or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian employment law and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience in employee engagement, talent development, or organizational change projects.
  • Strong Excel and HRIS (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday) skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
