About the role

This is a full-time Purchasing cum Admin Executive opportunity at MCC20 DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD' based in Bukit Jalil Kuala Lumpur. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the administrative and purchasing functions within the organization. This role ensures the smooth operation of office activities, procurement processes, and compliance with company policies while maintaining cost efficiency and high-quality standards.

What you'll be doing

Administrative Duties:

Office Hostel Management:

  • Manage day-to-day office and hostel operations, including hostel arrangements.
  • Organize and schedule travel trips for staff.
  • Do claims and reimbursement.
  • Purchase of hostel / office needs.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate records, including employee files, invoices, and company documentation.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, and memos.

Purchasing/Procurement Duties:

Supplier and Vendor Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure favorable deals.

Procurement Processes:

  • Oversee the procurement of goods and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate orders to prevent shortages or overstocking.

Quality and Cost Control:

  • Ensure all purchased items meet quality standards and align with the organization's needs.
  • Conduct cost analysis to optimize purchasing strategies.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3 years and above of experience in administrative and/or purchasing roles.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and procurement software/tools.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Willingness to work on-site and adapt to changing project requirements
  • Preferably Mandarin speaker to deal with china subcon maincon and client
