Position Summary

The Account cum Admin Assistant is responsible for supporting daily accounting tasks while handling general administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations. This role requires an organized, detail-oriented individual with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting

  • Assist in handling daily accounting tasks including data entry, invoice processing, payment vouchers, receipts, and filing.
  • Prepare and update accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
  • Assist in maintaining proper financial records.
  • Support the preparation of basic financial reports and summaries for management.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary when required.
  • Ensure all accounting documents are accurately recorded and well-organised.

Administrative Duties

  • Manage day-to-day office administrative tasks such as filing, documentation, correspondence, and record keeping.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and basic customer service enquiries.
  • Manage office supplies, stationery, and inventory updates.
  • Provide administrative support to other departments or management as needed.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned by the management.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (knowledge of AP/AR is an advantage).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Good communication skills and able to work well in a team environment.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
