Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, process, and track purchase orders (POs) and requisitions.
  • Communicate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations, confirm pricing, and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to identify purchasing needs.
  • Verify receipts of items against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies with vendors or internal departments.
  • Assist in negotiating terms, prices, and delivery schedules with vendors under the direction of the superior.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Support the accounting team by reconciling invoices and resolving billing or payment issues.
  • Generate regular reports on purchasing activities, cost analyses, and supplier performance.
  • Perform other related administrative or clerical duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

  1. At least 2 years' experience in a purchasing role, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
  2. Strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers
  3. Excellent administrative and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  4. A problem-solving mindset and ability to work well under pressure.
  5. Good attention to detail and numerical skills.

6.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with SQL systems preferred.
