Project Account Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project-related accounts, including monitoring budgets, expenses, and billing schedules.
  • Prepare and review project financial reports for internal and client use.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and timely invoicing.
  • Assist in forecasting project cash flow and monitoring financial performance against budgets.
  • Handle client queries related to billing and payment in a professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures for all project transactions.
  • Support month-end closing activities related to project accounts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and internal reviews.
  • Liaise with external vendors and clients for payment follow-ups and financial clarifications.
  • Contribute to process improvements for project accounting and reporting efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of working experience in finance, business, or administrative roles.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu; ability to speak Mandarin needed.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Additional Advantage: Familiarity with ERP systems and project accounting processes

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2, RM5,000.00 per month
