Adecco's client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee the full spectrum of human resources functions. The role requires a well-rounded HR professional who can support both strategic and operational HR needs. Our client operates within a highly regulated, fast-paced manufacturing plant environment, making this a strategic role with opportunities for growth and impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition, including workforce planning, sourcing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Oversee and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing in line with statutory requirements, while supporting compensation & benefits programs.
  • Act as an HR generalist across employee relations, performance management, training & development, and policy implementation.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Partner with management on manpower planning, retention strategies, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provide HR operational support in a manufacturing/plant-based environment to ensure smooth workforce management.

Key Requirements

  • 7-10 years of HR experience, ideally with exposure to FMCG, manufacturing, automotive, or other operationally intensive industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Strong HR generalist background with hands-on experience in talent acquisition, payroll, employee relations, and compensation & benefits.
  • Solid knowledge of Malaysian labor law, HR compliance, and best practices.
  • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office; able to manage data accurately and confidentially.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Mandarin is an added advantage to liaise with stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel.
