Procurement Officer

To support the Lead - Procurement in ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services, maintaining supplier relationships, and assisting in daily procurement operations in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Procurement Operations
Assist with day-to-day procurement activities, including preparing and processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
Follow up on orders to ensure on-time delivery.
Vendor & Contract Management
Support in evaluating supplier performance (quality, cost, reliability).
Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
Internal Coordination
Work closely with internal departments to understand purchasing needs.
Ensure procurement activities align with project timelines and requirements.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Support the Lead - Procurement with administrative duties
- Support audits and ensure accurate documentation of procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain processes will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented, organised, and willing to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
