Your Role

To maintain effective and compliant procurement processes, manage supplier relationships, and oversee procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Procurement Operations

  2. Execute purchasing of medical supplies, equipment, food & beverage, housekeeping materials, and other operational needs.

  3. Prepare, review, and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts.

  4. Negotiate with suppliers for best pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

  5. Vendor Management

  6. Identify, evaluate, qualify and register new suppliers /vendors.

  7. Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability and service quality.

  8. Conduct vendor performance reviews and resolve delivery or quality issues.

  9. Compliance & Documentation

  10. Ensure purchases comply with company policies, regulatory standards, and industry requirements (e.g., MDA for healthcare, HACCP for hospitality).

  11. Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.

  12. Assist in audits and reporting requirements.

  13. Cost & Inventory Control

  14. Support cost reduction initiatives through effective sourcing and negotiation.

  15. Work closely with inventory/warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock levels.

  16. Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and alternative sourcing options.

  17. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  18. Liaise with operations, finance, and department heads to understand procurement needs.

  19. Provide procurement support for projects, renovations, or specialized equipment acquisition.
  20. Coordinate with accounts for timely invoice processing and payment.

Requirements

  • Education:

    o     Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Hospitality

    Management, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    o    Minimum 2 – 4 years of procurement experience, preferably in healthcare or hospitality.

  • Skills:

    o    Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

    o    Able communicate, read and talk in Chinese will be advantages
