About the role

We are seeking a talented Merchandise Executive to join our dynamic team at Sauce Empire Manufacturing Sdn Bhd. As a Merchandise Executive, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the effective merchandising and presentation of our products in our retail locations across Kajang, Selangor. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing consumer goods company.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing effective merchandising strategies to maximise product visibility and sales
  • Ensuring consistent and visually appealing product displays across all retail locations
  • Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to align merchandising efforts with brand and promotional activities
  • Regularly visit stores in the Klang Valley, including AEON and Jaya Grocer
  • Push store performance by ensuring proper product displays, promotions, and stock availability
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design promotional materials and activities.
  • Optimize product positioning in stores based on customer trends and preferences.
  • Collect feedback from customers during store visits to understand preferences and concerns.
  • Submit feedback reports to management for analysis and future action planning.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a merchandising or retail operations role, preferably within the consumer products industry
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
