Roles & Responsibilities
- Operational oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the business to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Financial management: Analyze financial statements, forecasts, and profit & loss to ensure the business stays within budget and achieves profit goals.
Strategic planning: Develop and implement strategies for sales, service, and overall growth in alignment with company objectives. Maintain and build relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
Team leadership: Recruit, train, motivate, and manage department managers and staff to achieve performance targets. Lead, mentor, and motivate teams to achieve high performance.
Customer satisfaction: Ensure high customer satisfaction levels by addressing complaints and implementing processes that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Performance analysis: Review key performance indicators (KPIs) for all departments, analyze sales data, and make data-driven decisions to improve performance.
- Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Marketing or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5-10+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with several years in a senior operations or management leadership role. Proven experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager, or similar executive role.
- Proficiency in business management software and tools.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent financial and business acumen.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and solve complex business problems.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
