General Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager (Aesthetic) to join Bloom Healthcare Group, a subsidiary of Salcon Berhad, based in Damansara, Selangor. Bloom is a fast-growing primary healthcare group (Dental, GP, Aesthetic, Wellness) with over 60 clinics nationwide, including 10 aesthetic clinics and expanding. This role will lead the strategic growth and operations of our aesthetic division, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of aesthetic healthcare in Malaysia.

What you'll be doing

1. Leadership and Management:

2. Oversee and ensure smooth daily operations of multiple clinic locations.

3. Manage clinic managers and staff, ensuring efficient team performance.
4. Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize clinic performance.
5. Ensure business compliance with legal & regulatory requirements (ie. MOH).

6. Financial Oversight:

7. Develop and manage the annual budget, monitor financial performance.

8. Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue growth strategies.
9. Implement pricing strategies to align with market trends and brand positioning.

10. Customer Experience and Service Quality:

11. Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained across all clinics.

12. Monitor patient feedback and implement improvements to enhance patient satisfaction.
13. Address patient concerns or complaints promptly.

14. Marketing and Business Development:

15. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the brand and services.

16. Develop annual marketing and promotional plans.
17. Train/develop sales consultant/customer service to enable sales conversions.
18. Develop partnerships and expand business opportunities.
19. Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for new treatments or services.

20. Staff Training and Development:

21. Oversee recruitment and retention of skilled talents (doctors, therapists, customer service).

22. Develop training programs to ensure staff are up-to-date with latest techniques and products.
23. Promote a positive work culture that aligns with company values.

24. Compliance and Risk Management:

25. Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.

26. Develop protocols for medical and operational risks.
27. Regular audits to ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies.

28. Strategic Planning and Reporting:

29. Work with the leadership team to define and execute the company's strategic goals.

30. Prepare regular reports on clinic performance, operational efficiency, and financials.
31. Analyze data to make informed decisions for business growth.

32. Technology Integration:

33. Oversee the integration of technology for operational efficiency (e.g., CRM, booking systems, clinic management systems).

34. Explore new technological advancements in the aesthetic industry to enhance clinic operations.

35. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

36. Oversee inventory of medical products, aesthetic equipment, and consumables.

37. Manage relationships with suppliers and ensure timely procurement of necessary materials.

38. Expansion and Growth:

    • Identify opportunities for clinic expansion or opening new branches.
    • Lead projects related to opening new locations, ensuring operational readiness.
    • Perform any other duties or ad hoc tasks as assigned by the management

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in a general management role, preferably within the aesthetic or healthcare industry
• Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving business growth in a fast-paced, competitive environment
• Exceptional strategic and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the aesthetic industry landscape and market trends
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset and the drive to deliver outstanding results
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Operations Management or any related field
