Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and strategic
Sales Manager
to lead and grow our portfolio of
training programmes, certification courses, and learning solutions
. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and leading the sales team to achieve business targets across both corporate and public programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage sales strategies to grow revenue across corporate training, certification programmes, public courses, and customised learning solutions.
  • Identify new market segments, key accounts, and partnership opportunities to expand the company's reach and product offerings.
  • Analyse customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities to support business decisions and programme planning.
  • Lead, guide, and motivate a team of Sales Executives to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and conduct regular coaching to improve team effectiveness.
  • Implement structured sales processes, reporting systems, and pipeline management for better forecasting and tracking.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with corporate clients, HR leaders, and decision-makers.
  • Manage high-value accounts and serve as the main point of contact for escalations, complex enquiries, and strategic proposals.
  • Develop account growth plans to increase retention, repeat business, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Acquire new clients through networking, presentations, proposal development, and consultative selling.
  • Engage with industry associations, government agencies, partners, and community networks to generate leads.
  • Promote both public and in-house programmes, including certifications, leadership development, compliance training, and specialised courses.
  • Work closely with Programmes, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure successful delivery and promotion of training and certification offerings.
  • Provide client insights to help refine course content, develop new programmes, and improve the overall learning experience.
  • Coordinate with trainers and subject matter experts for customised client solutions.
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales-to-delivery process, ensuring smooth coordination for training dates, trainers, and client requirements.
  • Monitor programme effectiveness through feedback, surveys, and post-training evaluations.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and build long-term relationships for continuous business.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on sales campaigns, digital promotions, webinars, and events to increase visibility and lead generation.
  • Represent the company at industry events, expos, conferences, and networking sessions.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience
    in sales, business development, or account management (preferably in training, certifications, HR solutions, education, or professional services).
  • Proven ability to meet targets, close deals, and manage key corporate clients.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to travel for client meetings, proposals, and events when required.
