Administrative Assistant

Salary: RM3,000 – RM5,000

Employment Type: Full-time (Permanent)

Working Hours: 10am – 6pm (Hybrid)

Location: The Dune @ Light Grey, Sungai Buloh (Free parking available)

Role Overview

HURUF is looking for an Administrative Assistant who will primarily support finance-related administration and daily operational tracking. While the title is administrative, this role involves accounts-style support work, including invoice tracking, record keeping, and coordination with internal teams.

This role suits someone who is methodical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers, documents, and routine processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day finance administration, including invoice tracking and payment records
  • Assist with Accounts Payable–related admin such as checking invoices, organising bills, and preparing payment lists
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable–related admin such as issuing invoices and updating received payments
  • Maintain expense records, claims, and reimbursement documentation
  • Perform basic reconciliation tasks by matching records against statements or summaries
  • Keep financial documents, receipts, and files properly organised and up to date
  • Track deadlines, approvals, and follow-ups related to finance and admin matters
  • Provide general administrative support to operations and management teams

Who We're Looking For

  • No prior experience required — training will be provided
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Administration is a plus, not mandatory
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic documentation tools
  • Organised, responsible, and careful with details
  • Able to follow processes and handle confidential information
  • Clear communication skills in English
  • Willing to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks
