What you'll be doing?
  • Drive recruitment: Manage the full recruitment cycle from advertising to onboarding, ensuring the right talent joins the team.
  • Administer HR operations: Maintain employee records, track attendance, and handle leave and claims efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance: Register employees with statutory bodies, manage tax deductions, and stay up-to-date with labor laws.
  • Facilitate performance management: Oversee probation reviews, confirmations, and support the performance evaluation process.
  • Optimize HR systems: Utilize HR tools to streamline processes and provide insightful reports to management.
  • Foster employee engagement: Organize activities and manage internal communications to enhance workplace culture.
Who are they looking for?
  • HR or Business background: A diploma or degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Industry familiarity: Experience in SMEs or project-based industries like design or construction is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Legal know-how: Strong understanding of Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements is essential.
  • Tech-savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems is required to manage digital HR processes effectively.
  • Multilingual abilities: Good command of English is necessary, with Malay and Chinese being advantageous for diverse communication needs.
  • Adaptable multitasker: Ability to handle various responsibilities independently in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
