Responsibilities:

Group Logistics & Operation

  • To plan and schedule shipment from Oversea which includes all brands within EIG Group.
  • To continuous monitor and improve SOP in logistics operations and order processing.
  • To oversee direct shipment from suppliers to regional offices from shipping arrangement to follow up billing from Malaysia.
  • Approval on freight and duty invoice verification done by supporting staff.
  • To take special care on new shipping projects on Letter of Credits involving multiples shipping designations.
  • To handle overseas marine insurance claim.
  • To evaluate forwarder's services and performance on timely basis.

Procurement

  • To propose and execute centralize procurement plan.
  • To set up the centralize procurement department with Standard Operating Procedures, execution of the procurement plan and ensure cost savings and improve efficiency.
  • To plan on monthly Purchase Order to Dermalogica and other brands for Malaysia, EIG HK, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines.
  • To guide subordinate on the procurement process of beauty devices, accessories and spare parts for EIG offices from suppliers in UK, USA, Australia, Italy, Germany, France, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan.
  • To work closely with Finance on product costing and price setting.
  • To raise PR for house brand replenishment to production.

Inventory Planning

  • To conduct monthly inventory planning meeting enhancing communication among inter-departments.
  • To develop an Inventory Control System and improved order process to have better stock control among Group.
  • To input information and analyze "Auto Replenishment Template" for suggested quantity during monthly stock replenishment.
  • To analyze monthly inventory reports and trigger other business units to initiate sales and marketing plans.
  • To work closely with FMCG, Trade Marketing and Corporate Salons team on stock planning and replenishment.
  • To propose stock allocation by analyzing inventory data with approval by General Manager.
  • To monitor on intra-group stock transfer among EIG countries and shipment, reverse logistics arrangement.
  • To provide monthly projected purchase in meeting yearly purchase target.
  • To review order forecast from Malaysia and Regional Countries.
  • To oversee on purchase orders process, operational issues, quality control and product claim issues with suppliers.
  • To alert Finance department to furnish payment schedule by providing purchasing forecast.
  • To monitor inventory level at 3rd party warehouse.

Regional Order Processing:

  • To oversee monthly regional orders to EIG HK, Singapore, Thailand and export customers in Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia from order scheduling, order processing to export shipments.
  • To guide quarterly MRA claim and monthly shipment discrepancy claim from regional countries.
  • To fulfill regional office's logistic requirement in line with each country's shipping needs.
  • Update Product Information Bulletin (PIB) to Malaysia division and regional countries.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with major in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Inventory Management or related field.
  • 5-6 years relevant working experience, preferably in Skin Care or Consumer Care Industry.
  • Meticulous, Independent, good problem solving.
  • Good communication and planning skill.
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, SAP knowledge.
  • Strong freight forwarder and transporter network.
