Job Summary

The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving the growth of the company's solar energy solutions. This role involves market research, proposal development, strategic sales engagement, and collaboration with technical teams to deliver tailored solar solutions to commercial, industrial, and residential clients.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Lead Generation

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the solar PV market (residential, commercial, industrial, utility).
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and partnerships.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

Client Relationship Management

  • Engage with potential clients to understand energy requirements and recommend suitable solar solutions.
  • Deliver presentations, proposals, and ROI calculations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Sales & Project Coordination

  • Prepare quotations, tender submissions, and commercial proposals.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure accurate system designs and project scopes.
  • Support contract negotiation and close deals in alignment with company targets.

Reporting & Strategy

  • Provide weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance insights.
  • Support business strategy development and contribute ideas for market expansion.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Fresh Graduate or 1–2 years of experience in business development, preferably in the solar/renewable energy or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems, project financing concepts, or energy efficiency is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships and close sales effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Preferred: Mandarin speaker to serve Mandarin-speaking customers and partners effectively.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel for client meetings/site visits.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
