About the role

Join JTRON Technology (M) Sdn Bhd as a Field Service Engineer based in Penang. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and maintenance for our customers' electrical and electronic systems. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our cutting-edge products.

Primary Role & Responsibility:

You are required to check work schedule plan, familiar with SOP documentation and other

rules onsite as specified by the Customers prior onsite.

1.Provide field technical support on-site at customers' semiconductor manufacturing

facilities.

2.Responsible for Handler installation and de-installation, handler preventive maintenance (PM), handler options upgrade and Handler troubleshooting.

  1. Responsible for SOC Tester systems installation and de-installation, external

traceability calibration, system options upgrade and system troubleshooting.

  1. System maintenance & PC workstation support.

  2. Prepare Service reports and provide feedback on technical issues with regards to

equipment performance.

  1. Actively engage with customers to ensure highest level of service commitment and

quality.

  1. Submit Service Reports to Sales Admin for closure whenever task is completed.

  2. To carry out all technical job functions related Company's business dealings with, and obligations to, the Company's existing and potential customers, from time to time and also, when such requirement changes.

Secondary Role & Responsibility (when not onsite):

You are required be on standby mode and reachable by phone or email anytime during office

hours.

  1. To support any ad-hoc duties when is required.

  2. To contribute and participate in Jtron internal projects (if any).

What we're looking for

· Fresh Grad is also welcome.

· Junior Engineer with 1- or 2-years working experience. Added advantage if with automated production equipment (tester and handler) experience, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing industry.

· Able to travel frequently

· Must be able to provide timely reports on Daily Activities and submit the on-site Service Reports.
