Job description

Melewar Learning Resources is a reputable training provider with its office situated in the city of Kuala Lumpur.

Melewar Learning Resources has been actively engaged in the training sector or industry in Malaysia for more than 10 years now. Apart from the programmes/courses developed by Direct English UK (a product of the Linguaphone Group, UK) being used as its core products, Melewar Learning Resources has also developed other communication, technology, accounting, soft-skills and human resource programmes which are offered via the Human Resources Development Corporation (HRD Corp) platform.

We are now looking for a Administrative Executive to be part of our expanding team.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate should possess an undergraduate degree in any field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in training–related works
  • Possess experience and knowledge in training-related matters, including dealings with training initiative organisations such as HRDC, PERKESO, and e-Perolehan
  • Enthusiastic and able to connect/relate with our learners from all levels
  • Speak and write good English
  • Possess positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Digital / technology savvy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Social Media
  • Must be willing to travel for work purpose

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all training-related administrative tasks, including course registration, attendance tracking, preparation of training materials, and issuance of certificates.
  • Handle submissions and compliance matters with training initiative organisations such as HRDC, PERKESO, and e-Perolehan, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, trainers, learners, and internal departments to support smooth planning and execution of training programmes.
  • Prepare and maintain records, reports, and documentation related to training activities, proposals, tenders, and programme evaluations.
  • Assist in organising training schedules, venue arrangements, logistics, and travel coordination when required.
  • Provide professional support to learners, addressing enquiries, guiding them through processes, and ensuring a positive learning experience.
  • Assist in preparing marketing materials, social media updates, and promotional content for training programmes.
  • Manage digital systems and databases, including placement tests, attendance systems, and learner performance records.
  • Support the preparation of invoices, payment claims, and other administrative tasks related to training operations.

Other Responsibilities:

  • To assist the team to provide information and/or counselling to walk-in, phone-in and/or e-mail enquiries to potential clients/students;
  • To contribute and participate in any projects, events & activities undertaken by the Company in any assigned role as and when required;
  • To always maintain high regards to both Human Resource and Company policies;
  • To carry out such other duties that may be assigned by the Company from time to time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Administrative: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Preferred)
