Job Purpose:

As a Country Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading the sales team in Malaysia to achieve revenue and profitability targets. You will establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to drive business growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and improve sales performance.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share in existing and new markets.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their business needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges that impact sales performance.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop plans to address them.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 12+ years of progressively responsible sales experience in the IT industry, preferably in IT distribution.
  • Management Experience: Minimum 5+ years of sales management experience, with a team of at least 20 sales representatives.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a Master's degree in Marketing or Business preferred.
  • Skills: Proven leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
