Product Sales Specialist - Sports Medicine based in Malaysia

Success in the role will require a combination of technical knowledge, soft skills, and a deep understanding of both the business and service-providing sides of an organization.

Successful candidates would need the following:

  1. Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Education.
  2. Sales experience in Medical Devices will be an added advantage.
  3. Knowledge of clinical segment / product platform preferred.
  4. Sales task capability/experience - forecasting, pricing, product development, positioning, promotion, planning, portfolio management, surgeon advisory panel - Desirable.
  5. Fresh graduates in excellent academic standing are welcome to apply. Biomedical students are preferred.

Responsibilities

  1. Initiates sales process by prospecting, scheduling appointments, conducting sales presentations, understanding business needs, developing proposals, and closing sales.
  2. Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing additional solutions and services and/or developing new and innovative applications.
  3. Closes sales by establishing rapport with potential customers, expounding on the benefits of business unit solutions and service capabilities; overcoming objections, etc.
  4. Proactively keeps up to date on product knowledge and market trends by participating in educational opportunities offered by S&N or other appropriate channels.
  5. Accountable for customer satisfaction and providing high-quality service.
  6. Responsible for keeping commitments in a timely manner and resolving issues promptly.
  7. Maintenance of customer database.
  8. Be familiar with competitors' strategies and product features/benefits and contribute information to market strategy by monitoring driven products and feedback from end users.
  9. Provide feedback on market information regarding competitors' activities, product pricing, SWOT in reports and sales meetings.
  10. Good territorial and sales management of all assigned accounts.
  11. Operating expenses to be kept to budget.
